Hunt-Ho Farm,Inc. was established in 2000 with the goal of providing a riding facility to North Augusta and surrounding area that concentrated on giving children the opportunity to develop special relationship with horses. We looked high and low to find that perfect place that would be close to the interstate as well as town for the convenience of parents and students. We are a family owned and privately managed facility that emphasizes that the horse comes first.
Meet the Staff:
Our main instructor. Emily holds a 4 yr B.S. in Equestrian Science from William Woods University and is Certified with the American Riding Instructors Association. She has over 13 yrs teaching experience and over 20 years riding experience. Emily started riding at a young age and has ridden with several Olympic listed trainers. She continually strives to further her education by attending clinics and classes. Her philosophy is not rushing the horse or student. It should be a fun experience!!
SweetHeart joined our family in 2005. Someone dropped her off at our gate one evening and she has been really happy since. she loves to have fun, be petted or just sit in Ms Emily's lap. She also loves cookies.
Badger joined our family Dec 4 2007. Since being here he as earned his CGC (Canine Good Citizine) and is working toward his first leg in Novice Obedience. He also has talked his moma into getting sheep and starting him into herding. That way he can help out at the farm more.
